Filled Positions

As a Shopify Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing Shopify themes and ensuring seamless user experience. You will work closely with the design team to deliver exceptional web solutions. 

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with design team to develop Shopify themes 
• Translate design wireframes into high-quality code 
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility 
• Optimize website speed and performance 
• Implement responsive design and mobile-friendly features 
• Maintain code integrity and organization 
• Ensure website security and data protection 
• Test and debug front-end issues 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies 

Requirements

• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong experience with Shopify and liquid templates 
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Familiarity with Git, Github, and command line interface 
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development 
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards 
• Knowledge of SEO best practices 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently 

Preferred candidates that have experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify app development, Ruby on Rails and great familiarity with Shopify API. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Shopify Front End Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
