What you'll be doing
- Conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems and networks
- Monitoring security events and incidents, analyzing logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches
- Investigating security incidents, determining root causes, and recommending remedial actions
- Managing and maintaining security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Assisting in the development and execution of security awareness and training programs for employees
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures and controls
- Participating in incident response activities, providing technical expertise and support
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Security Analyst or similar role
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with network and web application security
- Proficiency in analyzing security logs and event data
Preferred candidates will have professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are highly desirable. Candidates with experience in incident response, threat intelligence, or security operations will be given preference.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Security Analyst II. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
