As a Junior Public Relations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our PR efforts and assisting in the implementation of strategic communication plans. Your creativity, strong writing skills, and ability to build relationships will contribute to the success of our PR campaigns. 

What you'll be doing 

• Assisting in the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns 
• Crafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials 
• Conducting media monitoring and maintaining media contact databases 
• Building relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers 
• Assisting in organizing and coordinating press events, conferences, and interviews 
• Managing social media platforms and engaging with online communities 
• Tracking and analyzing PR campaign performance and generating reports 
• Contributing to crisis communication efforts, when necessary 
• Staying updated on industry trends and PR best practices 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Strong storytelling and content creation abilities 
• Familiarity with media relations and press release writing 
• Proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools 
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines 
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills 

Preferred candidates for this role should ideally have completed an internship or gained previous experience in public relations or communications. Additionally, familiarity with PR software and tools like Cision or Meltwater is highly desired. A basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies is valued. Experience in event planning and coordination is beneficial. The ability to analyze media coverage and derive insights from it is advantageous. A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box are highly preferred. Finally, a genuine passion for staying updated on industry news and emerging PR trends is highly valued. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
