As a Localization Program Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating localization projects to ensure the successful adaptation of our products and services for international markets. Your expertise in localization processes and project management will contribute to our global expansion efforts.  

What you'll be doing 

  • Coordinating and managing localization projects from initiation to completion 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather localization requirements and define project scope 
  • Working closely with translation vendors to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of localized content 
  • Conducting linguistic and functional testing of localized products and providing feedback for improvements 
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies 
  • Developing and maintaining localization guidelines, glossaries, and style guides 
  • Participating in the selection and evaluation of localization tools and technologies 
  • Providing training and support to internal stakeholders on localization best practices 
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements in localization practices 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field 
  • Proven experience in localization project management 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
  • Strong knowledge of localization processes and best practices 
  • Familiarity with translation management systems and localization tools 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment 

Preferred candidates for the role of Localization Program Specialist should have experience in managing localization projects in a remote or global setting. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Familiarity with content management systems and agile development methodologies is valued. Strong organizational skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams are also important. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Localization Program Specialist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
