Filled Positions

As a Junior Front-End Developer, you'll play a crucial role in our team by translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. You will work closely with our UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. 

What you'll be doing 

• Developing new user-facing features 
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use 
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs 
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability 
• Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services 
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders 
• Maintaining and improving website 
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies 
• Advocating for the user and implementing a user-centric design 

Requirements 

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS 
• Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them 

Preferred candidates with good problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a team, and a passion for continuous learning will be given preference. We're particularly interested in individuals who are self-driven and have a keen eye for detail.  

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Junior Front-End Developer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
