Job Description
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented remote Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Netsuite and QuickBooks experience, hold a CPA certification, and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Financial Record-keeping: Maintain accurate financial records using Netsuite and QuickBooks (journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries)
  • Month-end Close: Assist with the month-end close process (prepare/review financial statements, analyze variances, ensure timely completion of reports)
  • Financial Analysis: Perform analysis and reporting for management decision-making (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulations; prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial operations
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to gather financial data, support budgeting/planning, and address accounting inquiries/issues

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
  • Experience: 3+ years in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Software Proficiency: Netsuite and QuickBooks expertise
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration with stakeholders
  • Time Management: Effective deadline management and task prioritization
  • Remote Work Experience: Familiarity with handling US clients remotely
  • Language: Proficient in spoken and written English

We offer a full-time, remote role with a 40-hour workweek (Mon-Fri, US hours). This position provides excellent long-term growth opportunities for ambitious Staff Accountants. HMO and other benefits are available to Philippine candidates.
