As an IoT Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and deploying IoT solutions. Your expertise in IoT technologies, hardware integration, and data analytics will be crucial in creating smart and connected systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the advancement of IoT projects and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure. 

What you'll be doing 

• Designing and developing IoT systems, including sensors, gateways, and cloud-based platforms
• Integrating IoT devices with existing hardware and software systems 
• Collecting and analyzing IoT data to derive actionable insights and optimize system performance 
• Implementing security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of IoT data 
• Collaborating with software engineers to develop IoT applications and user interfaces 
• Testing and troubleshooting IoT systems to identify and resolve issues
• Conducting research on emerging IoT technologies and recommending innovative solutions 
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve system reliability and scalability 
• Creating technical documentation and user guides for IoT solutions 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in IoT development and implementation 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java for IoT applications 
• Knowledge of IoT platforms and protocols, such as MQTT and CoAP 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting IoT systems 
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively 

Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience in developing end-to-end IoT solutions and possess knowledge of edge computing, wireless sensor networks, and industrial IoT. Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and cybersecurity in the context of IoT will be highly valued. Strong passion for emerging technologies, ability to adapt to new tools and methodologies, and a proactive attitude towards innovation are also desirable qualities. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced IoT Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
