As a Head of Supply Chain and Customer Service, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process and customer service experience. You will lead a team of supply chain and customer service professionals to ensure that the company's supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers the best customer experience. You will work closely with other departments, such as Sales and Operations, to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and meet customer needs
- Identifying and managing risk in the supply chain, including managing inventory levels and lead times
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards for supply chain and customer service activities
- Developing and implementing customer service strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive customer loyalty
- Leading a team of supply chain and customer service professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and support
- Managing budgets and resources for the supply chain and customer service functions
- Continuously improving processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management and customer service roles
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with supply chain management software, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Experience in e-commerce or consumer goods industries preferred
Preferred candidates that have experience in lean manufacturing principles and methodologies with international supply chains and Six Sigma or other process improvement certificate holders. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
