As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for helping develop the company's proprietary software by conducting requirements engineering and implementing new features. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Identify and build machine learning models that align with product needs 
• Validate and optimize models in real-time to ensure their effectiveness 
• Work with the engineering team to integrate models into production software features 
• Continuously measure and improve both the accuracy of the models and the data they use 
• Collaborate with product, engineering, stakeholders, and users to prioritize new features and algorithms based on usage and feedback 
• Advise and collaborate with other data scientists on data, solutions, and presentations 
• Build a deep understanding of marketing industry data sources 
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and data analysts 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or other relevant fields  
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Building and maintaining machine learning systems, including configuration, data collection, data verification, feature extraction, resource and process management, analytics, training, serving, validation, experimentation, and monitoring 
• Understanding of various machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as supervised vs unsupervised learning, regression, recommendation, and more 
• Knowledge of model building and validation procedures, including techniques to improve model accuracy and effectiveness 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or other relevant languages 
• Experience working with SQL to manipulate and analyze data 
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and identify new opportunities 
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis 
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, including how to set up and manage machine learning environments on cloud platforms 

Preferred candidates with strong data skills, including working with large, structured and unstructured data sources. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
