As a CDN Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and optimal performance of our Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructure. Your expertise in CDN technologies and site reliability practices will be critical in maintaining a robust and scalable CDN platform.  

What you'll be doing 

• Monitoring and managing the health and performance of the CDN infrastructure 
• Implementing automation to streamline CDN deployment and maintenance processes 
• Troubleshooting and resolving CDN-related incidents and outages
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance CDN capabilities 
• Conducting regular performance analysis and capacity planning for the CDN 
• Ensuring CDN security and implementing necessary measures for protection 
• Responding to and resolving customer inquiries and issues related to the CDN 
• Implementing CDN best practices to optimize content delivery
• Participating in on-call rotations and providing 24/7 support for critical incidents 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a CDN Site Reliability Engineer or similar role 
• Strong proficiency in CDN technologies and concepts
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Knowledge of web servers, load balancers, and caching technologies 
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) 
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 

Preferred candidates will have a track record of effectively managing CDN infrastructure in a high-traffic environment. They will possess expertise in implementing and maintaining CDN security measures. Experience with cloud platforms and CDN performance optimization would be advantageous.
