As a Capital Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our organization's capital and fixed assets. This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere while utilizing your strong financial acumen and attention to detail. 

What you'll be doing 

• Managing and tracking the organization's capital and fixed assets 
• Conducting regular audits to ensure accurate recording and valuation of assets 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess capital needs and develop budgeting strategies 
• Analyzing financial data to evaluate the performance of capital investments 
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements related to capital assets 
• Monitoring and reconciling depreciation and amortization expenses 
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements 
• Participating in the development and implementation of capital expenditure policies and procedures 
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in capital accounting 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Capital Accountant or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of capital accounting principles and practices 
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting 
• Effective interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates that possess advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, enabling them to provide valuable insights into capital investments. Candidates with experience in capital budgeting, project management, or cost accounting will be preferred, as they can contribute to the strategic allocation of capital resources. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Capital Accountant. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
