As a Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing budgets, and providing insights to support effective financial planning and decision-making. This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere while utilizing your strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

What you'll be doing 

• Analyzing financial data and trends to develop accurate budgets and forecasts 
• Monitoring budget execution and identifying variances or areas for improvement 
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather budgetary requirements and provide financial guidance 
• Conducting cost-benefit analyses and evaluating program effectiveness 
• Preparing reports and presentations to communicate budgetary information to management 
• Assisting in the development of budget policies and procedures 
• Providing recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve financial efficiency 
• Conducting financial research and staying updated on industry trends and best practices 
• Supporting audits and reviews related to budgeting and financial management 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Budget Analyst or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and budgeting techniques 
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in budget preparation and analysis 
• Effective interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates for this role should possess advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, allowing them to provide valuable insights for budget planning and decision-making. Candidates with experience in government or nonprofit sectors and familiarity with relevant regulations will be preferred, as they can navigate complex budgeting requirements.
