As an Associate SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing website visibility and search engine ranking through keyword research, analysis, and optimization. Your main objective will be to increase the website's organic traffic and provide recommendations to improve website performance. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for website optimization 
• Optimize website content, metadata and structure for search engines 
• Collaborate with content teams to create and optimize content 
• Monitor and report on website traffic, search engine rankings, and other related metrics 
• Analyze website data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase organic traffic 
• Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithms and industry trends to ensure best practices and compliance 
• Assist in developing long-term strategies to increase organic traffic from search engines such as Google SEO
• Monitor relevant keywords on a regular basis using appropriate tools such as SEMRush or ahrefs for tracking search engine rankings across multiple sites
• Determine which pages need optimization by analyzing keywords used on various URLs
• Identify potential opportunities through competitive intelligence/analysis within relevant webpages
• Analyze competitors' link building methods& modify them where applicable
• Perform technical audits of websites on a regular basis ; review HTTP status codes, page load speed, broken links etc.
• Make recommendations on how these should be improved
• Use HTML markup elements & schema tags effectively when carrying out optimization tasks
• Analyze & interpret site metrics trends & report result regularly to define success rate through casual testing / A/B testing etc.
• Develop reports that monitor SEO performance& track progress against objectives set out by the business
• Collaborate closely with content writers & source external content where necessary – such as guest blogging/ linkbuilding techniques etc.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry updates & algorithm changes from major players including Google amongst others

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English  
• At least 1-2 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing 
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools 
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Excellent team collaboration skills 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Preferred candidates for this position are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for all things SEO. They should be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
