As a Web Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our web platforms, ensuring their stability, performance, and security. Your expertise in web development and operations will be pivotal in enhancing user experience and maximizing our online presence. 

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and monitor the health of our web infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web performance, uptime, and security
• Conducting regular audits and optimizing website speed, responsiveness, and accessibility
• Implementing and managing website updates, patches, and enhancements
• Analyzing web traffic data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement
• Coordinating with development teams to deploy new features and functionality
• Assisting in the creation and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings
• Ensuring compliance with web development best practices and industry standards
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web operations and security

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience as a Web Operations Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms
• Familiarity with web server administration and hosting environments
• Experience with web performance optimization and troubleshooting tools
• Proficiency in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong collaboration abilities

Preferred candidates who possess experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are preferred. In addition, familiarity with content delivery networks (CDNs) and caching mechanisms, as well as website security best practices and tools, is highly desirable. Certifications in web development, operations, or related fields would also be a plus. Candidates who understand mobile web development and responsive design, and are able to write and modify scripts (e.g., Python, PHP) for web automation, would be considered favorably. Previous experience working in an e-commerce or high-traffic website environment is also highly valued. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Web Operations Specialist (Remote). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
