As a Tax Resolution Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert assistance and guidance to clients in resolving their tax-related issues. You will be responsible for analyzing financial documents, communicating with tax authorities, and developing effective strategies to help clients achieve favorable resolutions.  

What you'll be doing 

• Conducting thorough analysis of clients' financial records and tax documents to identify potential issues and discrepancies 
• Communicating and negotiating with tax authorities on behalf of clients to resolve tax problems, including audits, penalties, and delinquencies 
• Developing and implementing personalized tax resolution strategies and plans based on clients' specific circumstances 
• Assisting clients in preparing and filing necessary tax forms and documents accurately and in a timely manner 
• Providing expert advice and guidance to clients regarding tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements 
• Conducting research on complex tax issues and staying updated with the latest tax laws and regulations 
• Collaborating with internal teams, such as tax accountants and legal advisors, to ensure comprehensive and accurate representation for clients 
• Maintaining detailed records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes 
• Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients throughout the resolution process 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience working in tax resolution or a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess complex tax issues 
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and tax authorities 
• Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant tools 

Preferred candidates who demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and empathy in their work. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of successfully resolving complex tax issues and helping clients achieve positive outcomes. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently are highly valued. Additionally, experience in representing clients before tax authorities or working in a tax law firm is a plus. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Tax Resolution Specialist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
