As a Sr Cloud Native Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cloud-native applications using Java and related technologies. Your expertise in cloud-native architecture and Java development will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and highly available systems.  

What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using Java and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 
• Implementing microservices architecture and utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design architecture, and develop high-quality software solutions 
• Building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services and APIs into applications 
• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment 
• Conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and identifying areas for improvement 
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production environments 
• Ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization of cloud-native applications 
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud-native development and Java ecosystem 
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Extensive experience in cloud-native application development using Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) 
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs 
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, Git, etc.) 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities 

Preferred candidates should have a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, extensive experience in Java development, and a passion for building scalable and resilient applications. Advanced knowledge of container orchestration, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices is highly desired. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers are valued qualities. Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively with distributed teams is an advantage.
