As a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data platform to support large-scale data processing and analytics. Your expertise in data engineering and distributed systems will be essential in developing efficient and scalable data pipelines and services. What you'll be doing 

• Designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes 
• Building and optimizing data storage and retrieval solutions 
• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs
• Developing and maintaining data platform services and APIs 
• Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations 
• Troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues and performance bottlenecks 
• Researching and recommending new technologies and best practices 
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior data engineers
• Participating in code reviews and maintaining code quality 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on data platform development 
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerization 
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles 
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Preferred candidates will have a track record of successfully delivering data platform projects and driving data-driven decision-making. They will possess expertise in stream processing and real-time data analytics. Experience with data visualization tools and knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices would be advantageous.
