As a Senior Director of Design, Social, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our social media platforms. You will lead a team of designers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute design strategies that drive engagement and brand recognition. Your expertise in social media design trends, user-centered design, and creative direction will be essential in elevating our social media presence.  

What you'll be doing 

• Leading the design strategy and visual direction for our social media platforms 
• Collaborating with marketing teams to align design with brand guidelines and campaign objectives 
• Managing and mentoring a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback on design projects 
• Overseeing the creation of engaging visual content, including graphics, illustrations, and videos 
• Ensuring the consistency and quality of design across all social media channels
• Conducting user research and analyzing data to inform design decisions 
• Keeping up with social media design trends and emerging technologies 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize user experience and drive conversions 
• Monitoring and evaluating design performance metrics and making data-driven improvements 

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Design Director or in a similar leadership role 
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media design projects 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and design best practices 
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite 
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities 
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment 

Preferred candidates that have solid background as a Design Director, with a proven track record of leading successful social media design initiatives. We are looking for individuals who possess a deep understanding of social media design trends, can think strategically, and can effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to inspire and mentor design teams will be highly valued. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Director of Design, Social (Remote). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
