As a Senior Data Science Architect, Social, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data science solutions for our social media initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable data systems, and apply advanced analytics techniques to derive valuable insights. Your expertise in data architecture, machine learning, and social media analytics will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our social media strategies. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can thrive in a remote work environment. 

What you'll be doing 

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define data science objectives for social media initiatives 
• Designing and implementing scalable data architecture and infrastructure to support social media analytics and machine learning models 
• Developing and deploying machine learning models for sentiment analysis, content recommendation, and user behavior prediction in social media platforms 
• Applying advanced statistical analysis techniques to extract insights from large-scale social media data sets 
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization
• Working closely with data engineers to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines and data storage systems 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into our social media platforms 
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior data scientists on best practices, algorithms, and tools 
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and social media analytics 

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Data Science Architect or in a similar role 
• Strong background in data architecture, data engineering, and machine learning 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java 
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong presentation abilities 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects 
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field 

Preferred candidates for this role are an experienced Data Science Architect with a focus on social media applications. We are looking for individuals who have a strong background in designing scalable data systems, applying machine learning techniques, and analyzing social media data. Candidates with a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making in the social media space and experience in natural language processing, social network analysis, or recommendation systems will be highly valued. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Data Science Architect, Social (Remote). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
