Filled Positions

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play an integral role in our team by managing and optimizing our data architecture. Your primary focus will be to develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems. Your expertise will enable us to make informed strategic decisions through high-quality data processing and analysis. 

What you'll be doing 

• Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production 
• Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together 
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations 
• Design and implement data tools for analytics and data scientist team members 
• Improve data foundational procedures, guidelines, and standards 
• Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems into Big Data platforms 
• Collaborate with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems 
• Understand and implement database structures, theories, principles, and practices 
• Analyze and organize raw data 
• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results 

Requirements 

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field  
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques 
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python) 
• Familiarity with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and data frameworks (e.g., ETL frameworks) 
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases 
• Strong organizational and analytical skills 
• Attention to detail 

Preferred candidates with a strong grasp of data processing tools and languages, and those who have experience in machine learning, will be given preference. We're particularly interested in individuals who are constantly learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.  

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Data Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
