As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications. You will work remotely, collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to create visually appealing and functional websites. This position requires a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, proficiency in web development languages and frameworks, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. 

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for front-end and back-end development
• Collaborating with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into interactive web experiences
• Integrating third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality
• Optimizing website performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
• Conducting testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues
• Managing website content updates and ensuring data security
• Staying up-to-date with emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience in web development, including front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred candidates have experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal, knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL and MongoDB, familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack and Gulp, an understanding of UI/UX principles and usability testing, experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways, knowledge of security best practices in web development, and a portfolio showcasing their previous web development projects. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Remote Web Developer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
