As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities. Your expertise in financial operations and meticulous attention to detail will contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization's payroll department. 

What you'll be doing 

• Managing end-to-end payroll processes, including data entry, calculation of wages, and deductions 
• Preparing and distributing payroll reports to relevant stakeholders 
• Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations 
• Conducting regular audits of payroll data to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies 
• Maintaining accurate records of employee earnings, benefits, and deductions 
• Preparing payroll tax returns and assisting with tax compliance requirements 
• Assisting in the implementation and improvement of payroll systems and processes 
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters 
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and industry best practices 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and accounting principles 
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities 
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion 

Preferred candidates who have obtained a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, as it demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of payroll concepts and practices. Additionally, experience working with diverse payroll systems and familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations would be advantageous.
