As a Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our financial institution by facilitating the loan application process and guiding clients through the borrowing journey. Your strong financial acumen and customer service skills will be essential in evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and determining suitable loan options. With your expertise in analyzing financial documents and understanding market trends, you will make informed decisions and provide valuable advice to clients. 

What you'll be doing 

• Evaluating loan applications and ensuring they meet the required criteria 
• Analyzing financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness 
• Recommending suitable loan options to clients and explaining the terms and conditions thoroughly
• Guiding clients through the application process and answering their inquiries promptly 
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies 
• Collaborating with underwriters and other team members to expedite the loan approval process 
• Monitoring market trends and keeping up-to-date with industry changes 
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, realtors, and other stakeholders
• Contributing to the overall growth and success of the lending team 

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or a similar role in the financial sector 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• In-depth knowledge of various loan products, regulations, and lending procedures
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess financial data effectively 
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal abilities to provide excellent customer service 
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
• Sound decision-making skills and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information
• Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering results
