As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our organization's technological infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network, servers, storage, and other IT systems. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team. 

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure
• Manage network operations, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing network performance
• Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address infrastructure needs
• Develop and implement security protocols and measures to protect our systems from threats
• Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve vulnerabilities
• Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure enhancements
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users
• Streamline processes and implement automation to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and cloud technologies
• Proficient in system administration, including Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred candidates for this role would ideally have experience working in a remote or distributed team environment. In addition, possessing professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CISSP, along with familiarity with the ITIL framework, would be highly advantageous. Strong project management skills, a good understanding of DevOps practices and tools, and knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Python are also desirable. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP would further strengthen the candidacy. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
