As an Internet Database Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's online databases. Your duties will include designing and implementing databases, maintaining and updating existing databases, and troubleshooting database issues. 

What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing databases to meet the company's needs 
• Maintaining and updating existing databases to ensure accuracy and integrity 
• Ensuring database security and backup procedures are in place and functioning properly 
• Troubleshooting and resolving database issues in a timely manner 
• Collaborating with other departments to identify database needs and develop solutions 
• Developing and implementing data entry procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy 
• Conducting regular database audits to identify and correct errors 
• Providing training and support to end-users on database systems 
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements in database technology 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience as a database administrator or in a similar role 
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and Oracle 
• Familiarity with database design and normalization principles 
• Experience with data backup and recovery procedures 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates that have experience in cloud-based databases, knowledge of data modeling and data mapping, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java Keywords: Internet Database Specialist, database design, SQL, Oracle, data backup, data recovery, data modeling, data mapping, remote work, cloud-based databases. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Internet Database Specialist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
