As a Data Stores Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data storage systems. What you'll be doing 

• Designing and implementing scalable and efficient data storage solutions, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouses 
• Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity and security 
• Collaborating with software engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and design appropriate database schemas and structures 
• Developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries
• Monitoring and managing database systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Troubleshooting and resolving database issues and performance bottlenecks
• Implementing and maintaining database backup and recovery strategies
• Conducting database performance tuning and optimization activities
• Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in database technologies and recommending improvements to the existing data storage infrastructure

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 
• 4 years of experience as a Data Stores Engineer or similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) 
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization 
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
• Familiarity with cloud-based database services, such as Amazon RDS or Google Cloud SQL 
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization 
• Knowledge of database security best practices 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
