As an Accounting Information System Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our organization's accounting information systems. This remote position offers you the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of financial data. 

What you'll be doing 

• Managing and maintaining the organization's accounting information systems 
• Performing regular system audits and ensuring data integrity and accuracy 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements 
• Troubleshooting system issues and providing timely resolution 
• Designing and implementing financial reports and dashboards for management 
• Conducting system testing and user training for system upgrades or new implementations 
• Developing and documenting system policies and procedures 
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements 
• Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field 
• Proven experience as an Accounting Information System Specialist or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices 
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems 
• Technical skills in database management, SQL, and data analytics 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates should possess strong project management skills to effectively coordinate system upgrades and implementations. Candidates with additional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be preferred, as they can bring advanced knowledge and expertise to the role.
