We seek a highly experienced remote Senior Drupal Developer with over 6 years of experience, specializing in backend development with some frontend capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Drupal architecture, module development, and custom coding, alongside experience working with US clients in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Drupal websites, primarily focusing on backend development, including custom module creation and API integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components.
• Manage Drupal site architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Build and optimize database queries for improved site performance.
• Create and update site documentation, following best practices for security and performance.
• Lead code reviews, ensuring code quality, security, and alignment with project goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6+ years of Drupal development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Drupal APIs, including custom module development.
• Experience with Git version control and continuous integration workflows.
• Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON, and other API technologies.
• Excellent communication and English, written and spoken.
• Remote work experience handling US clients.

It’s a plus if you…

• Proficiency in Drupal theming and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Some knowledge in Shopify is a plus.
