As a User Experience Associate, you will be responsible for enhancing the usability and overall user experience of our digital products. Your expertise in user research, information architecture, and interaction design will help us create intuitive and engaging user interfaces that meet the needs of our target audience.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define user personas, user journeys, and user flows
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and solutions
- Designing and optimizing information architecture and navigation structures for our digital products
- Applying best practices in interaction design to create intuitive and seamless user interfaces
- Conducting heuristic evaluations and usability audits to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with developers to ensure the successful implementation of UX designs
- Analyzing user feedback and website analytics to iterate and enhance the user experience
- Staying updated with the latest UX trends, design tools, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Proven experience as a User Experience Specialist or a similar UX/UI role
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of user research techniques, including usability testing and user interviews
- Familiarity with information architecture and interaction design principles
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
- Excellent visual design and typography skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred candidates for this role will have experience in designing user experiences for web and mobile applications. Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be considered an advantage. Additionally, candidates with experience in conducting accessibility audits and familiarity with WCAG guidelines will be given preference.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced User Experience Associate. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
