What you'll be doing

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support via various channels (phone, email, chat) 
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues, guiding customers through step-by-step solutions 
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams and following up to ensure timely resolution 
  • Documenting customer interactions and solutions in a knowledge base or ticketing system 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve recurring technical issues
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and staying informed about new features and updates 
  • Providing excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction 
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the development of support resources 
  • Continuously expanding your technical skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, assisting customers with software and hardware issues 
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a logical and analytical mindset 
  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
  • Familiarity with common operating systems, software applications, and hardware components
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems 
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks 

Preferred candidates are dedicated and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist with a passion for problem-solving. Preferred candidates will have a solid technical background and previous experience providing technical support in a remote work environment. We are seeking individuals who are patient, empathetic, and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to customers of varying technical levels. The ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities is highly valued. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Technical Support Specialist (Remote). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
