As a Staff Accountant - Remote, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your expertise in accounting principles and financial analysis will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. 

What you'll be doing 

• Recording and maintaining financial transactions and journals 
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable 
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports 
• Conducting financial analysis and variance analysis 
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes 
• Assisting with tax compliance and reporting 
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial matters 
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards 
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel 
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping 
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities 
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment 

Preferred candidates should have experience in remote accounting and be familiar with working in a virtual environment. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desired. Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with financial systems implementation are valued qualities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues are also important. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Staff Accountant. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
