As a Software Engineer, Backend, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the core infrastructure of our software applications. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. What you'll be doing 

• Designing, coding, testing, and debugging backend applications and services 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture 
• Building and optimizing APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services
• Implementing security measures to protect data and ensure system integrity 
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments 
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers 
• Optimizing application performance and scalability 
• Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• Proven experience in backend software development 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
• Strong knowledge of database systems and query optimization 
• Experience with web frameworks and technologies, such as Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure 
• Understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpsersonal and collaboration abilities 

Preferred candidates for this role are those who are passionate about building scalable and robust systems, have a strong problem-solving mindset, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Individuals with a deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes will be highly regarded. Strong knowledge of scalable database technologies, such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL, is also preferred.
