As a Senior R&D Software Engineer (Remote), you will play a key role in our research and development team, driving innovation and developing cutting-edge software solutions. Your expertise in software engineering and passion for problem-solving will contribute to the advancement of our products and technologies.  

What you'll be doing 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define technical solutions 
• Conducting research and prototyping to explore new technologies and enhance existing systems 
• Implementing software best practices and coding standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance 
• Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members 
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs through troubleshooting and debugging 
• Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment 
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices 
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth 
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve software products 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in research and development projects 
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python 
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices, including Agile 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) 
• Knowledge of software testing techniques and frameworks 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration abilities 
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment 

Preferred candidates should have a strong background in research and development, with experience in developing innovative software solutions. Advanced knowledge in areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data analytics is highly desired. Proficiency in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, or distributed systems is advantageous. Strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to work on complex projects are valued qualities. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior R&D Software Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
