As a Senior Backend Engineer - Java, Product & Features, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our product and feature offerings. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.  

What you'll be doing 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java 
• Collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications 
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment 
• Optimizing backend performance and ensuring high availability and reliability 
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production environments
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers 
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing 
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development 
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• Extensive experience in backend software development using Java 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns 
• Proficient in backend frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar 
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with database systems and SQL 
• Experience with version control systems like Git 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Excellent collaboration abilities
