As a Remote Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement predictive models and algorithms that improve business outcomes. You will also be responsible for creating data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. 

What you'll be doing

• Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using statistical and machine learning techniques 
• Clean, format and validate data from both structured and unstructured sources to ensure accuracy  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement predictive models and algorithms 
• Creating data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders 
• Continuously monitoring and improving model performance and accuracy 
• Present findings in easy-to-understand language to stakeholders across the organization 

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field 
• 3+ years of experience in data science or related field 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R 
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and machine learning 
• Possess advanced problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skillsets. 
• Are highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. 
• Experience with natural language processing and text analytics 

Preferred candidates that have experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive, knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure and have experience presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Remote Data Scientist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
