Filled Positions

As a PHP Wordpress Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining WordPress-based websites, plugins, and themes. Your primary focus will be the development of new features and functionalities, optimization of existing features, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of WordPress websites. You'll work closely with designers, content creators, and other engineers to deliver exceptional websites that meet clients' needs. 

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining WordPress websites, plugins, and themes 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features 
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise in WordPress-based websites 
• Implementing security measures to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities 
• Maintaining code quality, organization, and documentation 
• Creating and maintaining technical specifications and documentation for WordPress projects 
• Optimizing website performance, speed, and scalability 
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies 
• Contributing to the WordPress community through open-source projects and community engagement 

Requirements

• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong experience in PHP programming and WordPress development 
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery 
• Knowledge of MySQL, PHPMyAdmin, and database management 
• Experience with WordPress plugins and themes development 
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration 
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

Preferred candidates that have experience with e-commerce and WooCommerce, good knowledge of SEO and website optimization best practices, great familiarity with version control systems such as Git and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
