As a Lead Robotics Software Engineer - Linux/Kernel Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of software solutions for robotic systems. Your expertise in Linux, kernel development, and robotics software will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and performance of our robotic platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the success of our robotic projects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. 

What you'll be doing 

• Leading the design and development of software for robotic systems
• Implementing and optimizing software algorithms for robotics 
• Collaborating with hardware engineers on system integration 
• Conducting performance analysis and optimization of robotic software 
• Debugging and troubleshooting software and hardware issues 
• Managing and mentoring a team of software engineers
• Defining and enforcing software development standards and best practices 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements 
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in robotics and kernel development 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Lead Robotics Software Engineer or in a similar leadership role 
• Proficiency in Linux and kernel development 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
• Strong understanding of robotics software and algorithms 
• Experience in system integration and software architecture
• Familiarity with robotic frameworks and middleware 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

Preferred candidates will have experience in developing robotic systems, knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems, and familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System). Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovation are also desirable qualities.
