Filled Positions

As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our IT assets, from procurement to retirement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and optimization of our technology resources. 

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures to ensure accurate inventory and tracking of all IT assets
• Conduct regular audits to verify asset data accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations
• Manage the procurement process for IT assets, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define asset lifecycles and establish appropriate retirement and replacement schedules
• Monitor software licenses, ensure compliance, and optimize license usage to minimize costs
• Maintain a centralized asset repository and provide timely reports on asset utilization, maintenance, and financials
• Collaborate with IT teams to assess hardware and software needs, forecast requirements, and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Implement and maintain an asset tracking system to monitor asset location, status, and lifecycle milestones
• Coordinate with external vendors for asset disposal, recycling, and data sanitization, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Proven experience as an IT Asset Manager or similar role, preferably in a remote work environment
• Strong knowledge of IT asset management principles, practices, and industry standards
• Familiarity with software license management, compliance, and optimization techniques
• Proficiency in using asset management tools and systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices

Preferred candidates for this role should possess a certification as a Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM). Additionally, experience with cloud-based asset management solutions, familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, knowledge of contract management and vendor negotiation, understanding of IT procurement processes and vendor evaluation, experience in conducting IT asset audits, and familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
