As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing costs, conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to optimize cost-efficiency in our organization. This remote position offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere while utilizing your strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

What you'll be doing 

• Analyzing cost data and identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement 
• Conducting financial analysis to determine the profitability of products or services 
• Monitoring and reporting on cost variances and recommending corrective actions 
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes 
• Conducting cost-benefit analyses for business decisions and investments 
• Participating in inventory management and valuation 
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements 
• Providing insights and recommendations to improve cost control and profitability 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices 
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and ERP systems 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting 
• Effective interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates that possess advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, allowing them to provide valuable insights for cost optimization. Candidates with experience in manufacturing or supply chain industries will be preferred, as they can apply their knowledge of cost accounting in a relevant context.
