As a Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Client Services Representative team by assisting with various communication tasks. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will be utilized in drafting and proofreading content, including emails, press releases, and social media posts. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely dissemination of information and help maintain our organization's positive image. Monitoring media coverage and tracking communication metrics will be part of your responsibilities, contributing to effective communication strategies. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Assisting in drafting, editing, and proofreading communications materials 
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging 
  • Managing and updating content on our website and social media channels
  • Monitoring media coverage and preparing reports on communication performance 
  • Responding to inquiries and feedback from internal and external stakeholders 
  • Organizing and supporting the execution of events and communication campaigns 
  • Conducting research to support communication strategies and initiatives 
  • Assisting in the preparation of press releases and media kits
  • Contributing to the maintenance of our organization's brand image 

Requirements 

  • C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English) 
  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems 
  • Basic knowledge of media monitoring and communication metrics 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively 

Preferred candidates for the Communications Assistant role will have a background in communications, public relations, or a related field. They will be proactive, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure. Preferred candidates will possess strong organizational skills and have a passion for effective communication. Experience with media monitoring tools and content management systems will be advantageous. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Communications Assistant. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
