Filled Positions

As a Back End Web Application Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of web applications. 

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining server-side web application logic 
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use 
• Implementing data storage solutions and integrations with third-party services 
• Collaborating with the front-end team to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience 
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging 
• Staying up-to-date with emerging web technologies and trends 
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to the team 
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks 
• Documenting technical specifications and processes 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Strong proficiency in at least one back-end programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby 
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as Spring, Django, or Ruby on Rails 
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles 
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB 
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure 
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 

Preferred candidates that have prior experience in the position of a back-end web application engineer, coupled with familiarity with front-end web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Candidates must be amenable to work during US business hours.
