As an Associate Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in our engineering team, contributing to the development and maintenance of software solutions. Your expertise in programming, problem-solving, and collaboration will be instrumental in delivering high-quality code and ensuring the functionality of our applications.  

What you'll be doing 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements 
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices 
• Participating in the design, testing, and deployment of software solutions 
• Debugging and resolving software defects and issues 
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members 
• Contributing to the improvement of software development processes and methodologies 
• Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends 
• Assisting in the creation of technical documentation and user manuals 
• Providing support and maintenance for existing software applications 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++) 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)  
• Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies 
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) 
• Understanding of software testing and debugging techniques 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration abilities 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

Preferred candidates should have a strong passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow in their technical skills. Knowledge of web development frameworks, database systems, and agile methodologies is highly desired. Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software are valued qualities. 

We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Associate Software Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
