As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be a key player in our finance team, responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and liaising with vendors. 

What you'll be doing 

• Processing invoices and reconciling them with purchase orders 
• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements 
• Preparing payment runs and processing payments in a timely manner
• Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies 
• Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos 
• Maintaining accurate historical records by filing documents 
• Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential 
• Participating in financial audits
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable 
• C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software 
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy 
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner 
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills 

Preferred candidates who have a proven track record as an Accounts Payable Specialist with at least 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
